The Pistons crushed the new look Suns today 116-86 in Phoenix.
This doesn't look good for the Suns, it's one thing to lose but it's another to get CRUSHED at home by 30 when you are still fighting for playoff position. They are now 1-2 since the Shaq trade, however they played three of the best teams in the NBA in the Lakers, Celtics, and Pistons.
Don't look now but San Antonio has won 5 in a row and is now in Second Place in the West a 1/2 game behind the Lakers. Guess we can't write them off yet huh?
Also, Detroit is now only 1 1/2 games behind the Celtics in the East. As I am writing this, the Celtics are currently losing to the TrailBlazers 54-47 at halftime. If they don't pull the game out it would be 4 losses in a row and then they would only be up 1 game on Detroit.

Personally, I still think the Lakers will make it out of the West, but the possibility of another Pistons-Spurs Finals is looking likely.
Update: The Celtics ended up beating Portland 112-102, so they are now 2 games up on Detroit but 3 games up in the loss column.
