Comments: Demetric Bennett exploded for 30 points in his last summer league game. Bennett didn't do much all summer so he definitely saved his best for last. Othello Hunter had his best game as well, scoring 20 points which is his summer league high. Hunter finished the summer league averaging 13.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.2 steals on 66.7% shooting. I would be shocked if Hunter wasn't on an NBA roster to start the season. Anthony Randolph finished off his summer league strong and averaged 17.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists, but he did shoot only 35.3% from the floor. DeMarcus Nelson had his second straight strong game and really played well in Utah finishing with 12.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.25 steals a game, while shooting 46.5% from the floor.

Comments: Charles Rhodes finished up his summer league strong and averaged 8.8 points and 4.0 rebounds a game on 59.4% shooting in Utah. Shan Foster could be in trouble because he shot only 32.5% from the floor and 18.2% from three during sumer league play in Utah. Morris Almond finished his summer league performance averaging 18.5 points a game on 44.9% shooting.

Comments: Ryan Anderson has been awful from the floor in Utah, shooting 5 of 22 in his last two games. Charles Rhodes had his best game of the summer for the Mavs and he has played well the whole summer, so that means a lot. Brook Lopez and Chris Douglas-Roberts continue to be solid for the Nets.

Comments: Othello Hunter finally played a bad game. He missed the game before, so I'm wondering if he has some kind of injury. Acie Law played well again, which is a good sign for him because he had not been playing well early on in the summer. Morris Almond had a monster game and has really been impressive for the Jazz in the summer. Kosta Koufos played his best game of the summer but has not been overly impressive so far.

Comments: Another monster game from Anthony Morrow who has been one of the best players of the whole summer. I can't see how he doesn't make someone's roster, especially since he has been hitting the three point shot consistently. Anthony Randolph has been shooting poorly from the floor but always seems to get a lot of points from the free throw line. Not sure that will continue during the regular season though.

Comments: Monster game from Gerald Green, who is going to have to show something this year with the Mavs or else he might not have another chance in the NBA. Ian Mahinmi has been solid all summer and could see minutes with the Spurs this season.

Comments: Jamont Gordon is playing with the Warriors now after playing with the 76ers in Las Vegas. Anthony Randolph and Ryan Anderson both struggled with their shots in this game. Richard Hendrix had a solid game with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Anthony Morrow has been playing good all summer and I haven't shown him any love but I couln't deny him any longer. Brook Lopez had a decent game and has been solid all summer. Julius Hodge came out of nowhere to put up 20 points.

Comments: Impressive peformance by Othello Hunter, who continues to play well in the summer league. I would be kind of surprised if Hunter doesn't sign with a team this season, since he has played well. Acie Law had a better second game then he started the summer league our with. Morris Almond contines to play well for the Warriors. Kosta Koufos did decent in his debut but nothing more.

Preview: Dallas is running with the same squad they are using in the Las Vegas Summer League. This is the first summer league game for the Atlanta Hawks though. Keep an eye on Othello Hunter and the progress of Acie Law.

Comments: Disappointing game for Acie Law. I thought he would play better than he did, but we will see how he performs in his second game. Solid debut for Othello Hunter, who is so efficient on the offensive end. None of the Mavs rookies have stepped up in the summer league and Gerald Green continues to be their best player.

Game 2 Boxscore: San Antonio Spurs 8 Utah Jazz 57

Preview: Just like Dallas, the Spurs are running with the same team they used in Las Vegas. This is the first summer league game for the Utah Jazz and it also will be the debut of Kosta Koufos, who was their first round pick. I'm interested to see how he is going to play. The Jazz also brought in Earl Calloway, who played well in the Orlando Summer League for the Pacers.
