Utah NBA Summer League (Rocky Mountain Revue) - Day 2

Today is the second day of the Utah Summer League, more commonly known as the Rocky Mountain Revue. Just like the Orlando and Las Vegas Summer Leagues, I will be posting daily on all the games and the performances of certain players. This summer league also features some foreign teams and a team of D-League players but I don't expect to write much about them.

(Links to previous days below)

Game 1 Boxscore: Dallas Mavericks 79 Iran 62

Notables:

Shan Foster, DAL: 4 points, 2-7 FG, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block
Gerald Green, DAL: 15 points, 4-7 FG, 1 assist, 1 steal
Jajuan Smith, DAL: 8 points, 3-6 FG, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal
Charles Rhodes, DAL: 7 points, 2-5 FG, 4 rebounds, 2 steals
Reggie Williams, DAL: 3 points, 1-3 FG

Comments: Not much going on in this game but the Dallas Mavericks were lead by Gerald Green to a victory over Iran.

Game 2 Boxscore: San Antonio Spurs 68 NBDL 65

Notables:

James Gist, SA: DNP
George Hill, SA: 6 points, 2-6 FG, 1 rebound, 5 assists, 5 steals
Ian Mahinmi, SA: 12 points, 4-8 FG, 6 rebounds

Comments: George Hill struggled from the field again in this game but he showed so other parts of his game with 5 assists and 5 steals.

Game 3 Boxscore: Atlanta Hawks 72 Utah Jazz 63

Notables:

Acie Law, ATL: 17 points, 5-11 FG, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 turnovers
Othello Hunter, ATL: 19 points, 8-13 FG, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals, 1 block
Jeremy Richardson, ATL: 9 points, 4-9 FG, 2 rebounds, 1 assist

Kosta Koufos, UTH: 12 points, 3-11 FG, 10 rebounds, 1 assist,
Morris Almond, UTH: 17 points, 6-13 FG, 4 rebounds
Earl Calloway, UTH: 3 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, steal.
Kyrylo Fesenko, UTH: 0 points, 0-1 FG, 3 rebounds, 1 assists, 2 blocks

Comments: Impressive peformance by Othello Hunter, who continues to play well in the summer league. I would be kind of surprised if Hunter doesn't sign with a team this season, since he has played well. Acie Law had a better second game then he started the summer league our with. Morris Almond contines to play well for the Warriors. Kosta Koufos did decent in his debut but nothing more.
