NBA Draft Update - Orlando Pre-Draft Camp & Kevin Love to the Timberwolves?

Here are the roster invites and physical only invites for the Orlando Pre-Draft Camp which kicks off tonight: Orlando Pre-Draft Camp Rosters & Physical Only Invites.

Typically, the physical only invites are going to be the top picks in the draft, so if you are wondering who is going in the lottery, it will most likely be some combination of these guys:

Joe Alexander, Darrell Arthur, D.J. Augustin, Jerryd Bayless, Michael Beasley, Eric Gordon, Donte Greene, DeAndre Jordan, Brook Lopez, Kevin Love, O.J. Mayo, JaVale McGee, Anthony Randolph, Derrick Rose, & Russell Westbrook

Now it's always possible a couple of these guys could drop but usually these are the guys that NBA scouts feel are the best prospects and that is why they are offered physical only invites. I believe last year, 15 out of the top 16 picks were guys who were on this list.

Now on to the big news, according to the latest rumors from DraftExpress, Kevin McHale is in "love" with Kevin Love and may be targeting him as they guy they want. Really? Kevin Love over Michael Beasley? No wonder why that franchise is in the shape it is in right now.

I mean seriously, if everything we are hearing about the Bulls taking Derrick Rose # 1 and the Miami Heat taking OJ Mayo at # 2 is true, then that means that Michael Beasley would be sitting there at # 3 for the taking and Kevin McHale would rather have Kevin Love? You can't be serious.

That's not even the worst part because apparently the Timberwolves might trade down with the Memphis Grizzlies who have the # 5 pick so they can select Kevin Love, but Memphis wants to take Brook Lopez at # 3 and pass on Beasley as well. Now according to that same list of rumors, the Sonics are looking at Jerryd Bayless with the # 4 pick, which means Beasley could slide all the way down to the 6th pick which is owned by the New York Knicks. Now wouldn't that be something?

Now maybe the Bulls are bluffing and are going to take Beasley # 1, which would land Derrick Rose at # 2 in Miami and that would mean OJ Mayo would slide down to # 6 but if Beasley slides to # 6 instead that would just be ridiculous.

Also, the LA Clippers are looking very hard at DJ Augustin as the # 7 pick but that may be a reach.
