Verse of The Week

I only posted 5 new joints this week, so there weren't many choices to pick from for Verse of The Week. That being said, I've always been a fan of verses or songs that tell a story, which is why I picked Styles P verse off of his "The Hoody and The Gun" joint as my Verse of The Week. Nicest shit I've heard from Styles P in a while, he was starting to get a little stale lately.

Verse of The Week:

My little man Jamel is fresh out of jail
He dead broke and he look like he thinking of raisin' hell,
cause his mens ain't greetin' 'em right,
and his ends ain't meetin' 'em right and he ain't eatin' that right,
He got nightmares, so he ain't even sleepin' at night,
and get the hoody and the gun, he be creepin' at night,
and he thinking 'bout gattin' a big nigga
Knockin' off crack, there's mad rats in the crib nigga
His moms is stressed out, his girl is tired of 'em
Cross town niggaz catch his ass, they gonna fire on 'em
He wanna leave now but he can't relocate,
just enough cash for his soap and his Colgate.
Barely get 'nough clothes, barely get 'nough kicks
Livin' on some rough shit, so he on some tough shit
Walk the block paranoid, ready to bust shit
If it ain't a dollar bill, then he don't trust shit
