Ego Trippin - Snoop Dogg

So Snoop Dogg's new album drops today and I got a chance to listen to it.

Let me tell you, it's not very good mainly because the beat selection and hooks are pretty damn bad. This is a far cry from the Snoop we remember back in the day and I think this album is sorely lacking Dr Dre's direction. I only like about 4 cuts on it.

I think Snoop is headed into retirement, he's getting old and he's rich, so he really doesn't have much left to prove which is why he is making albums like this. Not to mention he think's he doesn't need Dr. Dre, well maybe not to sell records but to make good records he needs Dre.
