Cassell to sign with Celtics

Sam Cassell will FINALLY sign with the Celtics.

Not sure how many minutes he will play but someone is gonna be on the pine after this signing. I would be shocked if Rajon Rondo didn't continue to start but I would imagine that Cassell would get the bulk of the backup PG minutes, which to me means that either Eddie House or Tony Allen aren't going to see as many minutes especially come playoff time.

I definitely like this signing for the Celtics, along with the PJ Brown move. The main thing is it adds depth to their team and now I think they can legitimately compete with any team in the West, plus Detroit.
