NBA Weekly

The biggest news this week was that the Celtics stopped the Rockets win streak at 22 games. I already broke down the Rockets win streak and the effect Tracy McGrady had on it. Now there is a similar article that touches base on why McGrady is not an MVP candidate. I think his passiveness in the Boston game shows one of the reasons why he shouldn't be MVP.

Meanwhile, it looks like Andre Bynum WILL see some action before the playoffs. This is good news for the Lakers fans out there, getting Bynum some time before the playoffs to work out the kinks should be beneficial.

As we all saw last night, Allen Iverson played his first game back in Philly and the fans gave him his proper due. Here are some of Iverson's best and worst moments from his great NBA career.

Finally, the East now has 7 teams at .500 or better for the first time all year. This is mostly thanks to the 76ers and Wizards recent hot streaks. However, Toronto is slumping lately and could fall under .500 if Chris Bosh doesn't come back soon.
