Carmelo Anthony Arrested for Suspicion of Driving Drunk

Say it ain't so Car-mel-o.

Apparently Carmelo Anthony had a little bit too much to drink last night and was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

Here is the description as to why he was pulled over:

The Denver Nuggets forward was arrested on Interstate 25, police said. He was alone in the car and pulled over for weaving and not dimming his lights.

So it seems like 'Melo thought he could see better with the high beams on. I'm sure this is what he was thinking, kind of funny if you think about it, either that or he had them on by accident.

Now it's definitely not funny to drive drunk, so I am not condoning this behavior one bit, especially since he is a professional athlete and should know better than this. Let's be serious, he had to be pretty drunk to be weaving because unfortunately I'm sure all of us have had a couple drinks and gotten behind the wheel and not had it affect our driving ability so much that we would be weaving.

It doesn't help that his team is in the middle of a playoff race. They will probably end up making the playoffs regardless but 'Melo should consider himself lucky that he didn't get in any fatal accidents last night.
