Cleveland 88 Boston 77: There's really no other way to say this but the Boston Celtics' offense sucks as they shot only 38.6% from the floor in this game. Plain and simple, this team will not be winning a championship if someone does not step up on this team offensively. It doesn't mean they will lose this series but their offense has not been the same in the playoffs so far and I will now officially say it flat out sucks.
Overall, this was just one ugly game in general. I mean it basically came down to the fact that Lebron was able to get some easy buckets for himself and his teammates and the Celtics weren't able to get any easy buckets. I seriously think the Celtics need to take Paul Pierce off of Lebron and let him focus on his offense a little more. If that means sitting Ray Allen and playing James Posey or Tony Allen more than so be it.
Lebron didn't have the best night offensively shooting the ball once again, as he hit only 7 of 20 from the floor and finished with 21 points. However, he scored some easy buckets at the end of the game including a thunderous dunk that was such an impressive moment it almost made me think Cleveland was on their way to winning this series. He also got his teammates alot of easy buckets and finished with 13 assists.
The bench really killed the Celtics in this game on both sides. Cleveland's bench was great and combined to shoot 15 of 24 from the floor, while scoring 26 points and pulling down 19 rebounds. They also didn't turn the ball over once. For the Celtics, their bench really struggled in this one, shooting only 4 of 14 for 17 points. Sam Cassell is now 0 for 11 in his last two games. Again we continue to see the bench players play well at home and suck on the road.
The good news is the Celtics get to play 2 of the next 3 games at home, where they haven't lost a playoff game yet. The bad news is that Lebron can go off at any point and steal one of those home games. It sounds crazy but the Celtics really need to win Game 5. They can't let Lebron steal that game for the Cavs or else they will be faced with an elimination game on the road where they haven't won a playoff game yet.
Celtics aint ready for Lebron yet...give em some time in the offseason to figure out how they can win on the road
