NBA Playoffs Rundown

The NBA Playoffs kicked off yesterday and the best game of the day was the Spurs-Suns double OT game.

Here is a rundown of all the games from yesterday:

Spurs 117 Suns 115: The Suns were up 16 at one point in this game but the Spurs were able to come back and eventually win the game in double OT.

Alot of experts picked the Suns to win this series because they felt the Suns acquired Shaq in order to slow down Tim Duncan. Well, that didn't work out so well in Game 1 as Duncan had 40 points 15 rebounds and 5 assists and also hit a big three point shot to send the game to double OT. I really don't see how the Suns are going to knock off the Spurs if Duncan keeps having games like he did yesterday.

Hornets 104 Mavericks 92: Dallas was controlling this game at the half and then let it slip away in the second half of the game. New Orleans really stepped up their D and Chris Paul was able to dominate Jason Kidd just as I predicted would happen.

Not much going on in the other two games, Lebron was Lebron as usual and the Jazz took care of the Rockets, which I expect to be the norm in that series.
