The NBA Draft Lottery will take place tonight before Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between Boston-Detroit.
Teams will be vying to see who gets the first and second picks in the draft, which most likely will be Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley. I am already on record saying that Derrick Rose should be the first pick in the draft but it also depends what team is drafting.
Jay-Z will be attending the NBA Draft Lottery as he will be the representative for the Nets. The Nets are hoping that Jigga will be the lucky charm that gets them one of the top two picks. I'm hoping that the Nets get the number one pick now just so Jay-Z can get interviewed about the pick. As much as Jay-Z is a part of the Nets, you never really see him talking about the team or mixing it up with the other high ranking people in the NBA, so I think it would be an interesting visual if this was to happen.
